In 2017, the Ministry launched the Student Entrepreneurs Programme (SEP), a Harambe Prosperity Plan initiative, to give business-minded students a platform to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and skills.

The aim of SEP is to deepen students’ understanding of business ventures and start-ups, expose them to venture capital opportunities, give them the chance to explore diverse business ideas, and discuss entrepreneurship with renowned business personalities, as well as their peers.

SEP aims to help young Namibians to build a nation of job creators – instead of job-seekers – as we move towards Vision 2030 through the Harambee Prosperity Plan (HPP).
